• Da Social Media immer mehr in den Alltag integriert wird, kommen auch Kinder schon früh mit dem Thema in Berührung und die Nutzung von Social Media im Kindesalter wird mehr zur Normalität. Dies bringt viele Probleme mit sich, die unter anderem für das Kind schädlich sein können und auch im späteren Leben zu Problemen führen können. Eltern, die manchmal unbewusst gegen wichtige Rechte ihrer Kinder verstoßen, fördern diese Probleme. Dazu gehören zum Beispiel das Persönlichkeitsrecht und der Datenschutz. Das wachsende Phänomen der Kinderinfluencer sorgt dafür, dass das Thema der Rechtsverletzung in diesem Bereich aktuell bleibt und auch der Aspekt Kinderarbeit in diesem Zusammenhang diskutiert werden muss. Durch die weltweite Corona-Pandemie intensivierte sich die Nutzung von Social Media und durch Einschränkungen auf dem Arbeitsmarkt und der Verluste von Jobs, treiben die Menschen an, schnell eine Lösung zu finden, wieder an Geld zu kommen. Die Wahl es mit Social Media zu versuchen, scheint in diesen Zeiten sehr verlockend, da man keine besonderen Qualifikationen braucht und man selbst entscheiden kann, wie intensiv man dieser Beschäftigung nachgehen möchte. Aufgrund der gesellschaftlichen Entwicklung und der entstandenen Einflüsse, findet man immer mehr Kinderinfluencer oder Accounts von Kindern, die versuchen erfolgreich zu werden. Es steigt also auch die Wahrscheinlichkeit, dass vermehrt Fälle dabei sind, bei denen aus Not der Eltern das Kind vor der Kamera steht. Denn eines ist in den letzten Jahren mit Social Media klar geworden: Kinderinfluencer oder Content mit Kindern generieren viel mehr Klicks und Aufsehen als so mancher Content von erwachsenen Influencern. Umso wichtiger und umso mehr muss man auf die rechtliche Lage und auch ethischen Rahmenbedingungen eingehen, kritisch hinterfragen und diskutieren. Die Bachelorarbeit bietet einen Blick auf die aktuelle Lage.
• As social media becomes more and more integrated into everyday life, also children come into contact with this topic at an early age and the use of social media of children becomes more of a normality. This comes with many problems that, among other things, can be harmful to the child and can also lead to problems later in life. Parents who sometimes unknowingly violate important rights of their children promote these problems. These include, for example, the right of privacy and data protection. The growing phenomenon of kid influencers ensures that the topic of rights infringement in this area remains topical and that the aspect of child labor must also be discussed in this context. Due to the worldwide Corona pandemic, the use of social media intensified and due to restrictions on the labor market and the loss of jobs, people are driven to quickly find a solution to get a possibility to earn enough money again. The choice to try social media seems very tempting in these times, since you don't need any special qualifications and you can decide for yourself how intensively you want to pursue this occupation. Due to the development of society and the influences that have arisen, you can find more and more kid influencers or accounts of children who are trying to become successful. So the probability is also increasing that there will be more cases where the child is in front of the camera out of the parents' distress. Because one thing has become clear in recent years with social media: kid influencers or content with children generate far more clicks and attention than some content from adult influencers. All the more important and all the more it is necessary to look at the legal situation and also the ethical framework, to question it critically and to discuss this theme. The bachelor thesis offers a look at the current situation.
