• Die Konzeptentwicklung für das zukünftige Alumni-Netzwerk des Studiengangs „Master in Library and Information Science“ (MALIS) der Fachhochschule Köln, Institut für Informationswissenschaft, wird vorgestellt. Ausgewählte Best-Practice-Hochschul-Alumni-Netzwerke aus Deutschland, Großbritannien, der Schweiz und den U.S.A., deren Erfolgsfaktoren mittels einer entwickelten Kriterienliste quantifiziert werden, dienen als Vorbild. Die Gliederung der Kriterien orientiert sich an den sechs Instrumenten des Relationship Marketings („6i“). Die abgeleiteten Handlungsempfehlungen berücksichtigen zusätzlich die Ergebnisse von zwei Studierenden-Umfragen. Die Vorschläge werden den einzelnen Entwicklungsphasen des Netzwerks zugeordnet.
• This article introduces a concept for the future alumni network of the degree program Master in Library and Information Science (MALIS) at the Institute of Information Science at the Cologne University of Applied Sciences. Selected best practice alumni networks of higher education institutions in Germany, Great Britain, Switzerland and the U.S.A. have served as models. Their factors of success are quantified with the help of a self-developed criteria list. The criteria are classified according to the six instruments of relationship marketing (“6i”). The recommendations take into consideration the results of two surveys conducted among MALIS students and alumni and are assigned to the different stages in the development of the proposed network.
