  • This bachelor thesis deals with the question whether Social signals are used as a ranking factor and have therefore an effect on SEO campaigns or not. The bachelor thesis refers in the answers of the questions to the social network Facebook and the searching machine Google. Moreover, an attempt of the Netprofit GmbH and an expert's interview with Mr. Christian Edel was used to provide a result, which shows that at the moment no ranking factor exists on the part of Google, but an indirect influence on Google passes rankings. This thesis is not only interesting for students, lecturers who would like to get a better knowledge wether or not social signals are used as a ranking factor will find this very interesting to read.
