• Das Ziel der vorliegenden Arbeit ist es, die Berichterstattung des öffentlichrechtlichen Nachrichtenformats Tagesschau auf dem sozialen Netzwerk TikTok zu untersuchen und zu bewerten, ob das Nachrichtenformat Inhalte nach journalistischen Kriterien und spezifischen Aspekten des Internets und der Plattform TikTok vermittelt. Zur Beantwortung der Forschungsfrage wurde eine qualitative Analyse mit deduktiver Kategorienanwendung durchgeführt. Die Analyse zeigte, dass die Tagesschau sowohl journalistische, internetspezifische als auch TikTok-spezifische Kriterien abdecken konnte und somit als Best-Practice-Beispiel für etablierte Medienformate auf sozialen Plattformen bewertet werden kann. Der Kanal der Tagesschau konnte die Nachrichten an die Formate der Plattform anpassen und gleichzeitig klassische Aspekte journalistischer Integrität wahren.
• The aim of this paper is to examine the coverage of the public news format Tagesschau on the social network TikTok and to evaluate whether the news format conveys content according to journalistic criteria and specific aspects of the Internet and the platform TikTok. To answer the research question, a qualitative analysis with deductive category application was conducted. The analysis showed that Tagesschau was able to cover journalistic, internet-specific as well as TikTok-specific criteria and can therefore be evaluated as a best-practice example for established media formats on social platforms. The Tagesschau channel was able to adapt the news to the platform's formats while maintaining classic aspects of journalistic integrity.
