Facebook und Fußball : die Interaktion eines Vereins mit seinen Fans am Beispiel von Borussia Mönchengladbach

  • The aim of this bachelor thesis was to find out what makes a good communication between a football club and their fans via the communication platform Facebook. For this, a benchmarking of the Facebook pages of all 18 teams in the German football league was carried out before six additional expert interviews further confirmed the results. In the empirical investigation it was figured out how important fast and compact information for the supporters is. At the same time the importance of moving pictures and live videos was pointed out. The bachelor thesis contains practical advice for the employees of Borussia Monchengladbach's press department as special attention was paid to this club during the investigations.
