• Die vorliegende Bachelorarbeit untersucht die Darstellung von wissenschaftlichen Bibliotheken auf der Social-Media-Plattform TikTok durch eine qualitative Inhaltsanalyse nach Mayring. Insgesamt wurden 100 TikTok-Videos analysiert, um Erkenntnisse über die Wahrnehmung und Repräsentation von Bibliotheken zu gewinnen. Die Analyse ergibt dabei, dass Motivation und Ästhetik eine miteinander verbundene Einheit auf Social Media darstellen. Gleichzeitig sind auch Verbesserungsvorschläge für Bibliotheken, unter anderem bezüglich der Nutzung in der Prüfungsphase, aus der Analyse hervorgegangen.
• This bachelor thesis examines the representation of academic libraries on the social media platform TikTok through a qualitative content analysis according to Mayring. A total of 100 TikTok videos were analyzed to gain insights into the perception and representation of libraries. Here, the analysis reveals that motivation and aesthetics are an interconnected entity on social media. At the same time, suggestions for improvement for libraries, among other things regarding use in the examination phase, also emerged from the analysis.
