N2  - Für den Erfolg einer Einrichtung ist die Leistungsmotivation der Mitarbeiter eine wichtige Voraussetzung. Sie besteht aus mehreren Faktoren und ist vom Betrieb partiell zu beeinflussen. Eine Befragung in Öffentlichen Bibliotheken ergab, dass die Arbeitsgestaltung und das Betriebsklima als wesentliche Ansatzpunkte für den Einsatz immaterieller Leistungsanreize angesehen werden. Öffentliche Bibliotheken bieten dafür sogar recht günstige organisationale Voraussetzungen. In einem Maßnahmenkatalog sind wichtige bibliothekarische Problemfelder aufgeführt, denen immaterielle Leistungsanreize zu ihrer Minimierung gegenübergestellt werden.
N2  - The staff’s motivation to increase results and output contributes essentially to the success of an enterprise or an institution. It comprises several factors and can be partly influenced by management. A survey in public libraries shows that the working conditions are considered to be significant starting points for establishing immaterial incentives. Even more so, public libraries offer quite good organizational conditions for this. In a catalogue of measures significant library problem-areas are listed and compared with immaterial incentives for the solution of these problems.
