N2  - Zunehmender Fremddatenimport und internationale Nutzer sind wichtige Gründe für einen geplanten Umstieg auf die Library of Congress Subject Headings (LCSH) zur Indexierung des Bestandes der Zentralbibliothek im Forschungszentrum Jülich (ZB). Für die bisher verwendeten Indexierungsterme aus der speziellen Schlagwortliste der Bibliothek wurden dazu über ein automatisches Mapping erste Zuordnungen zu den LCSH erstellt. Das Verfahren ermittelte nach einigen manuellen Bearbeitungen der Terme eine hohe Abdeckung der ZB-Terme durch die LCSH und bildet die Grundlage für die Weiterführung des Projektes.
N2  - Increases in external data import and international users are important reasons for a proposed switch to the Library of Congress Subject Headings (LCSH) for the indexing of the collection of the Central Library of the Research Centre at Jülich (ZB). The previously used indexing terms from the special subject headings list of the library were first automatically mapped to LCSH. After some manual editing of the terms the procedure identified a high coverage of the ZB-terms by the LCSH and forms the basis for the continuation of the project.
