N2  - Die vorliegende Arbeit stellt die BookTube-Community auf YouTube vor. Es handelt sich hierbei um eine Netzwerkgemeinschaft von Leseenthusiasten, welche auf YouTube Bücher rezensieren. Unter dem Aspekt von Social Reading wird erklärt, wie sich derartige Communities bilden und welche Motivationsgründe für die Teilnahme an der Community bestehen. Die Autorin betrachtet BookTube unter pädagogischen Gesichtspunkten, um das Potenzial dieses Videoformates für den Einsatz in Öffentlichen Bibliotheken im Rahmen der Leseförderung, sowie der Weiterentwicklung der Medien- und Sprachkompetenz bei Jugendlichen, zu veranschaulichen. Dazu wird im praktischen Teil ein Konzept vorgestellt, um zu illustrieren, wie Öffentliche Bibliotheken ein Projekt mit BookTube, als moderne Form des Lese- oder Buchclubs, gemeinsam mit Jugendlichen planen und durchführen können.
N2  - The following thesis introduces the BookTube community on YouTube. BookTube represents a new form of social reading and describes a continuously growing online community, which consists of videobloggers celebrating books on YouTube. The author explains, under the aspect of social reading, how such communities are built and illustrates the motivation for the participation of the community members. Furthermore, the author examines the potential of BookTube as a project with young adults in public libraries in order to promote reading and to foster their media and language skills. In the second part of the thesis, the author gives a concept to illustrate how public libraries can elaborate and execute a project with BookTube together with young people, as a modern form of the classical reading or book club.
